This program works with families referred from the Green Lake Human Services Department to maintain safety in homes where children are at-risk for removal or in the process of reunification. This program addresses a wide range of concerns including safety, enhancing the parent-child relationship, parenting, household management, nutrition, safe and stable housing, service acquisition, education, employment, medical, mental health, and substance abuse issues. Emphasis is placed on helping families develop formal and informal systems of support and resources.

This program provides intensive parenting education and support to parents in building safe and effective parenting strategies with a focus on enhancing the parent-child relationship. PSP works alongside families as they address and support family goals related to increasing family engagement, regulating, addiction and recovery, behavior modification techniques, anger and stress management, basic life skills, and family budgeting skills. The model of service is a strength-based partnership with families.
