Services Provided

This program serves youth who have received a first underage drinking citation. Youth have the option to take the 12 hour class or lose their license. This program takes place through the Portage County Court System.
The primary goal of this program is to facilitate the development of skills and resources so that parents/families are able to successfully manage their household and utilize community resources to meet individualized needs. The program provides support in the areas of household cleanliness, budgeting, basic home management, healthy meals and community resources.
Supervised Visitation is responsible for providing supervision between children who are in temporary placement and their families. Workers arrange and supervise visits, observe interactions, and report their findings to the county. When requested, employees provide positive parenting techniques during visits.
This program services primarily adjudicated delinquent youth, ages 12-17. These youth participate in Portage County Juvenile Sanctions programming throughout the week. This program then monitors youth through phone calls, in person checks and parent contacts on Saturday and Sunday. Services are also provided to youth who are on home visits or who have received sanctions for violations of their court orders.
