Dana received her Master of Science in art therapy with an emphasis in counseling from Mount Mary University. Dana’s clinical experience includes working with children and adults with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities, ADHD, anxiety, depression, attachment concerns, and trauma histories. Dana is dedicated to establishing an authentic, intentional, and trusting relationship with each individual she works with. Her therapeutic approaches include Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Experiential Therapy. Words are not always enough to truly capture the complex thoughts and emotions we are experiencing. Art therapy has the power to help those who may not have the words to express how they are truly feeling within a compassionate safe space. When we can’t seem to find the words, art allows us to speak.
