Sherzing Moua, LPC-IT
School-Based Therapist
As an art therapist and practicing professional counselor, I believe that client-centered care, empathy, compassion, and unconditional positive regard are essential to personal connection and growth. My main goal is to help others seek personal and holistic growth through the creative process of Art Therapy. By using an integrative client-centered approach, together we will plan and create therapeutic sessions focusing on your strengths. By understanding the idea of holistic healing and the creative process, I help many individuals with a variety of life challenges who are seeking personal growth. I work with children and adolescents who are challenged with depression, anxiety, oppositional defiant disorder, and/or trauma and stressor-related disorders. I also work with individuals who are dealing with these life challenges in group settings. With 3 years of practice in schools, hospitals, art studios, as well as in home therapy, I am skilled in working with a wide variety of individuals who seek growth. My passion is to work with individuals who seek personal and relational growth to be the best they can possibly be. Being able to help individuals gain wisdom as well as have a bit of fun through the creative process is what I hope to achieve.
