Heather Cooper, LPC-IT
Heather received her Master’s degree in the Community Mental Health Counseling Program at National Louis University in Illinois and her undergraduate degree in psychology from Appalachian State University in North Carolina in 2017. Heather has clinical experience working with children, teens, and adults and has a passion for working with adolescents with depression, anxiety, and behavioral and trauma histories. Heather treats the individual from a strength-based perspective, offering an eclectic approach that blends evidence-based practice with a warm and supportive therapeutic environment. This allows clients to feel safe and comfortable exploring their thoughts and feelings, allowing them to make change, as well as reach their goals.
