Amy received her Bachelor degree from the University of WI-Parkside and her Masters of Social Work from Loyola University of Chicago. She obtained her LCSW in 2018. Amy has experience working with individuals with mental health issues and alcohol and substance abuse issues. Having worked several years with adults in crisis, Amy gained experience working with individuals who were experiencing homelessness, mental health issues, and/or substance abuse issues. Currently, Amy works with adults who are in recovery in Illinois, where she has coordinated programs for the last several years. Amy is educated on peer support and principles of recovery, as well as WRAP, an evidence-based approach to recovery. Amy treats the individual from a strength-based perspective, offering an eclectic approach that blends evidence-based practice with a warm and supportive therapeutic environment.
