Angie Kuffel, LPC
School-Based Therapist
Angie Kuffel received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling and Psychology from the University of Colorado to obtain her License in Professional Counseling (LPC) in both Colorado and Wisconsin. Angie is a National Certified Counselor, who also has her Certified Addictions Counselor license in Colorado. Prior to working with strictly adolescents and children in a school setting, Angie assessed, diagnosed, and created treatment plans for a variety of clients, including adults and children who were both voluntary and mandated at a community mental health and addictions center. It was through these thousands of intakes completed, that Angie gained a vast array of experience in working with many different people, symptoms, and behaviors. It was also during this time that Angie was able to pilot telehealth intakes, making accessing care and future services easier for some clients. Prior to becoming a counselor, Angie had been working in middle schools and high schools as an educator. Angie's passion still lies within the school setting, providing accessible care for children and their families to find individualized ways of healing and coping from the stressors they face in their lives.
