Kimberly McCormick, LPC, received her Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from Concordia University. Her professional training and experience have included a variety of settings as well as different client populations. She has experience in both the private sector as well as not-for-profit setting, hospital setting, in-home therapy and intensive outpatient treatment. Kimberly has worked with many client populations including both adults and children as young as 2 years of age from various backgrounds, diagnosis and experiences. Kimberly has experience working with young children utilizing play therapy as well as trauma focused treatment and has experience with attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), affective disorders, anxiety disorders as well as developmental and learning disabilities.
