DeShanna received her master’s degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin -Milwaukee and is licensed as an Advanced Practice Social Worker. DeShanna approaches each situation with a trauma informed mindset and has a passion for meeting clients where they are. DeShanna takes pride in working with clients to help identify their strengths, goals and help them feel confident in their mental health journey. DeShanna’s professional experience include advocating for families, mental health programs and school-based settings. DeShanna conducts therapy with children, adolescents, and adults from a variety of different backgrounds. DeShanna is with the outpatient clinic at West Allis.
