Job Description

This program's goal is to enhance parents' abilities to adequately and appropriately care for their children, helping the parents to develop appropriate parenting behaviors, and identify and resolve problems before and after children return home. Duties include: formulating, implementing, evaluating and reviewing desired behavioral changes with family; providing parent coaching during child/family interaction visitation; intervening when necessary to prevent inappropriate behavior; completing program documentation on a timely basis; transporting clients as needed; and reporting family progress to County and making appropriate recommendations.

The hours of work for this position are varied. Evenings, weekends and holidays will be required to accommodate the needs of clients.

Requirements

Education & Training Requirements:
* Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in social services, human services, criminal justice, early childhood education or child care helpful, but not required
* Must have a valid driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance
* Background check and drug test required
