Dr. Grapengieser and Dr. Featherstone provide neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. A neuropsychological evaluation assesses the relationship between a person’s brain functioning and their behaviors, learning, and intelligence. This type of evaluation is generally conducted if there is concern that the individual may have experienced a head injury, medical issue, in utero exposure to drugs and/or alcohol, or regression in functioning or performance. The process for a neuropsychological evaluation is similar to a psychological evaluation. The evaluation begins with a clinical interview, and involves several interactive instruments, self-report and computer-based measures. After testing is completed, clients and/or parents will be provided with a detailed report along with comprehensive recommendations.
