Winnebago Aftercare Comprehensive Services is a new multi-faceted initiative that serves at-risk youth and their families. Professional Services Group employees work closely with Winnebago County employees to assess the various needs of the client. Flexible and creative programming is then provided to the youth (and family, if needed) based on the specific needs of the client. Direct service contacts include family support, home and school checks, goal driven mentoring as well as a variety of groups. On-going groups include Girls Circle, Gang Diversion and Anger/Emotional Management.
Supervised Visitation is responsible for providing court ordered supervision between children who are in temporary foster care placement and their families. Workers arrange and supervise visits, observe interactions, and when necessary, transport children to and from visits.
Intensive In-Home Therapy provides in-home support and treatment of at-risk families in order to maintain the current placement of children and to strengthen the family unit. The therapist and case manager work together by providing therapy and support services not only to the identified client, but to the family unit as a whole.
